WaveNode Suggested 8-Sensor Installation

Shown below is a method to provide monitoring on 8 sensors, with one computer and one LPT port

usage. It is not necessary to open your computer or provide any additional software.

Use a commonly available db25 printer port switch box to allow viewing 4 sensors at a time. Flip the

switch to view the other 4 sensors. These switches are commonly available, or Wavenode can provide

one for you.

This is much easier, cheaper, and more reliable than attempting to add additional LPT ports to your

computer. You can even use a 4-way or 8-way switch box later if you need more sensors, or use the LPT

port for your printer or other accessories.
